Power of Produce

This 12-week program runs each Saturday morning 9am-11am from June through mid-August at the Downtown Farmers Market of Manhattan. Kids ages 4-12 participate in hands-on nutrition activities and produce tasting. Each week kids earn tokens to purchase their own fresh fruits and vegetables at the Market!

Is there a cost? No, it’s FREE! Come as often as you want each Saturday June - mid-August.

Do the kids need to pre-register? No, sign up at the booth on your first visit.

What are the tokens for? EACH week a kid participates they get 4 tokens, each worth $1. Come 4x and get an EXTRA token that week!  Shop each visit or save up the tokens for a BIG purchase another day!

Where is the POP booth located? You’ll find POP in the southwest corner of the Downtown Farmers Market of Manhattan, near the Information Booth.
